FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Bethesda, MD – December 19, 2024 – Red Creek Solutions (RCS), a certified 8(a), Native American, and woman-owned management consulting firm, is proud to announce that its team has been recognized with two 2024 NIH Clinical Center CEO Awards for outstanding performance on a key contract with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical Center’s Department of Transfusion Medicine (DTM).

Under contract 75N90024P00382, RCS delivered comprehensive project management, organizational change management, strategic planning, workforce support, records modernization, and operational transition services. These efforts supported DTM’s critical relocation to the newly renovated E-Wing facilities in Building 10, as well as the successful renewal of the American Red Cross contract essential for donor recruitment and blood collection operations.

The awards, presented by NIH Clinical Center CEO James K. Gilman, M.D., highlight RCS’s contributions:

  • Administration Category: For outstanding data analysis and strategic planning as part of the American Red Cross Contract Renewal Team, ensuring continued success in blood collection operations that support diverse patient populations.
  • Making an Impact Category: For exceptional teamwork as part of the E-Wing Relocation Team, facilitating the smooth transition of clinical operations, stabilizing services for over 500 staff and patients, and training personnel on new procedures through workshops and ongoing guidance.

“RCS is deeply honored by this recognition from the NIH Clinical Center,” said Tyler Rush, CEO, of Red Creek Solutions. “Our team’s dedication to applying project management procedural standards, stakeholder engagement, and change management expertise ensured 100% on-time completion of milestones during this transformative period for DTM. These achievements underscore our commitment to delivering high-impact solutions in healthcare settings.”

The NIH Clinical Center’s DTM provides vital blood component therapy, cellular therapy, therapeutic apheresis, and specialized diagnostics, supporting patient care and research at the world’s largest hospital dedicated to clinical research.

This successful collaboration demonstrates RCS’s expertise in partnering with federal health entities, with transferable skills in stakeholder alignment, process improvement, and operational stabilization—particularly relevant to supporting tribal health programs and community initiatives.
